Barter, Carter

Today is a pretty big day for Ca$h Money, as their latest addition to the roster, Young Thugga, drops his debut release "Barter 6" which was originally known as the "Carter 6" but Tunechi wasn't haven't it (I guess). In addition to attempting to take over the 'Carter' throne Young Thug also decided to have the album release in none other than HollyGrove, and has invited Wayne personally via Instagram! I don't know whether to expect Tunechi or not, being he a businessman first and may have pre-scheduled arrangements, but that is a very ballsy move by Thugger Thugger. Now of course YT is backed by Ca$h Money so I expect zero to little violence if any, but this just makes things way more interesting for me. As you should know my theory is that this whole thing is a big hoax, and in the end Ca$h Money is going to re-unite as this 'powerhouse' per say. I still feel this way, but after seeing YT's Instagram and the way he's attacking it seems to be real. Especially since he had said earlier he wouldn't be doing the back & forth thing with someone he once looked up to, but I guess he was like fvkk it....or could it be more parts to this dramatic 'powerhouse' scheme? Unfortunately I won't be able to make the concert in person but that's why we have Twitter and Instagram!

In all seriouness though, I'm kind of eager to hear what YT has to offer; I mean the last time we saw something like this was with Juvenile 400 Degrees, when none other than Tunechi took it and made 500 Degrees. The album was pretty hot, not exactly 400 Degrees, but pretty close, 380 maybe? I know for fact that YT is capable of making good music as the Rich Gang album wasn't half bad. I mean if you're not into that "glitz & glamour" style rap then it's not for you, but the beat selection alone is worth listening to. & even though the actual content is "typical" and nothing out of the norm, YT has seemed to perfected his flow. He knows how to work his angle, and that never hurts. He's no Tunechi, for sure, but he can make good music; and I'll even go a bit further to say, I'm positive he can put out a project better than Weezy's last effort(SFTW4) which was terrible to me. Tunechi says he's releasing a free project called the Free Wayne Album and I hope wholeheartedly that he reminds you there's only 1 Carter.

The Spotlight Remains on Ca$h Money

I'm convinced now officially that the whole Ca$h Money, Lil Wayne shyte is a hoax.  After the past stories I read, I realized its a minor set back for a major come back.  Lets just go over the top three stories in my timeline this week.  All coming from thr most reputable sources.
1st off we got Thugga Thugga! He was in had an interview this week with GQ and according to them he stated that that he'd never buy a Jay Z album based on their age difference and that if you're 30 or older you shouldn't be rapping.  Biggest statement though was that Jigga doesn't want to, and shouldn't be rapping, even though he's good at it .  Now these statements will reach Hov's ears, rather he responds or not is something we'll have to wait for.  Considering Young Thug I feel it's just an attention drawer to keep the spot light on none other than...Ca$h Money.
2nd Tunechi announced that he'd be releasing a new album sooner than later, but still not C5.  Instead it's supposed to be named the "Free Wayne" album and its title says enough.  There's not much more known about it or its content just that it'll be here before the Carter V.  The lawsuit is still under lid and seal with the only deets being that Weezy wants $51M for Carter V & release from his contract but will stay if paid $10M for for the album.  Baby hasn't said much except for he is willing to go to court.  More propaganda I say.
3rd and the icing on the cake is the "Turk Suing Baby" situation.  Turk says he wants $1.3M from Ca$h Money as well as all the rights to his music. The $1.3M would be compensation for unpaid royalties, as well as shady dealings.  At first I was thinking "Really Turk, I don't even think you're album made $1.3M" but then I thought about how much money he really did miss if he didn't get any of his publishing and its more like "Damn Baby, its just $1.3M".  Turk says they've been trying to handle it privately but it hasn't gotten him anywhere so time to take it to the next level I guess, especially right now, cause the iron is hot...a little tooo hot I'd say, propaganda maybe?  And let us not forget that Manny Fresh and Lil Wayne have also been cited together...
Now to most it seems like the crumbling of an empire, but to the trained eye, its a strategic movement, for maybe one of the biggest publicity stunts in hip hop ever, and considering the characters involved it could be highly likely, stay tuned....

Worst Hip Hop Rumors This Month

The internet is very much like the real world, with a high speed traveling system.  If you wanted(& lots of folk actually do) you could just kick back in your house all day, working from home, as well as having eveything from education, to zebra meat delivered right to your front door.  mc).  Now with this ease of access to just about everything, it leaves me dumbfounded when I'm scrolling thru my social media notifications & see bogus stories on just about everything from celebrities to new species of animals.  Now although a few(very veerry few) of these just happen to be true sometimes, I still find it super annoying, lazy, & a downright insult personally to bloggers & journalists everywhere when these stories are posted & actually taken seriously!!!  I mean I get it, sometimes there seems to be countless days that fly by with no real leads or stories to keep your reader entertained but I still don't see it as an excuse to post some bullshyte that's going to be confirmed fake within 2 minutes of it being posted!  Whats worse is the credit you lose as blogger/journalist/writer.  Now again I know this type of "journalism" has been around since print publications were the only way to stay in tune with the entertainment world, but due to technology seems like it would've died out some but it seems to get worse everyday.  The straw that broke the camels back for me was when I saw an article that said Ludicrous the rapper was dead!  Of course the story was took down & deleted just as quick as it was posted but still its like how far will these mofos go for attention/traffic now-a-days.  I decided to scan back a month to see the most ridiculous lies that internet could tell, here's just 5 of them, but...believe me (drake vc) there's plenty more where this came from.
I know folk joke about this all the time, but what blew me away with this one is that ehy actually went thru the trouble of creating a fake account to create 'gay confession' tweets or photoshopped his tweets, either way, thumbs up for trying to keep the authenticity.
There's no shame in this one at all.  This mofo types up a police report that states 'verbatim' that the staff found a pair of long johns with blood on the seat(heh) belonging to Gucci Mane(they black out his name of course)...and thats just the tip of the iceberg
The title says it all.
Unless you're Encino Man then you've heard about the current riff between Birdman & his marquee act, Tunechi.  In an effort to milk the situation for everything its worth this whimsical tale was created...Enjoy!
How messed up did you get to come up with this...this....f%ckery?!  A conspiracy to steal 29 tons of McNuggets for personal use? I guess it would be a kick ass idea for an after-hours grub-spot.
