New Music Press Release | Pearl Speed

Life tears people up; some just deal with it some simply can’t handle it. Then you have people like Jon Oh! that just enjoy the ride! Branding himself Mr No Condom back in 2012, he’s been applying pressure ever since most likely breaking the pipe this year. With two impressive mixtapes circulating online, Jon Oh! decides to bring us an official album this year, leading with his catchy tune “Pearl Speeds”. Taking a retro-approach to a futuristic beat, Mr No Condom holds the listener hostage on a two minute high speed chase while dropping countless jewels along the way.

This is only a small sample of what to not expect…(laughs) I’m working a different angle on every track, so just know it only gets better

Mr. No Condom starts the song out with his upbringing in the nineties and goes on to talk about how it molded him into the dope azz artist he is today. The beat keeps you with a constant jig with its catchy & simple, yet complex tune; this is also the best way to describe his flow as he rides the beat from start to finish. Roughly just two minutes and some change, by the time you realize what's going on the song is going off, forcing you to repeat it two times at least to fully take it in, but you won’t because the replay value is pretty high for this reason.

There’s no question that the 90’s was the golden era for rap, everything was much more genuine, I just wanted everyone to indulge in that magic with me for a moment.”

Given everything goes well Jon Oh! says to expect the album just in time for SXSW this year. He went on to say that the untitled album will contain about eight to ten tracks with a heavy emphasis placed on soul based production. With what we’ve heard so far I can say that we’re in for quite a treat, and before its all said I’m almost 100% sure he will be everyone’s “Favorite Black Guy”.

Jon Oh! is an indie hip hop artist established in Charleston, South Carolina around the start of 2012. Branding himself as Mr. No Condom, he dedicates his being as a symbol of freewill and reflects this in his music. He encourages others to become more in tune with their inner self through following natural intuition.

The Spotlight Remains on Ca$h Money

I'm convinced now officially that the whole Ca$h Money, Lil Wayne shyte is a hoax.  After the past stories I read, I realized its a minor set back for a major come back.  Lets just go over the top three stories in my timeline this week.  All coming from thr most reputable sources.
1st off we got Thugga Thugga! He was in had an interview this week with GQ and according to them he stated that that he'd never buy a Jay Z album based on their age difference and that if you're 30 or older you shouldn't be rapping.  Biggest statement though was that Jigga doesn't want to, and shouldn't be rapping, even though he's good at it .  Now these statements will reach Hov's ears, rather he responds or not is something we'll have to wait for.  Considering Young Thug I feel it's just an attention drawer to keep the spot light on none other than...Ca$h Money.
2nd Tunechi announced that he'd be releasing a new album sooner than later, but still not C5.  Instead it's supposed to be named the "Free Wayne" album and its title says enough.  There's not much more known about it or its content just that it'll be here before the Carter V.  The lawsuit is still under lid and seal with the only deets being that Weezy wants $51M for Carter V & release from his contract but will stay if paid $10M for for the album.  Baby hasn't said much except for he is willing to go to court.  More propaganda I say.
3rd and the icing on the cake is the "Turk Suing Baby" situation.  Turk says he wants $1.3M from Ca$h Money as well as all the rights to his music. The $1.3M would be compensation for unpaid royalties, as well as shady dealings.  At first I was thinking "Really Turk, I don't even think you're album made $1.3M" but then I thought about how much money he really did miss if he didn't get any of his publishing and its more like "Damn Baby, its just $1.3M".  Turk says they've been trying to handle it privately but it hasn't gotten him anywhere so time to take it to the next level I guess, especially right now, cause the iron is hot...a little tooo hot I'd say, propaganda maybe?  And let us not forget that Manny Fresh and Lil Wayne have also been cited together...
Now to most it seems like the crumbling of an empire, but to the trained eye, its a strategic movement, for maybe one of the biggest publicity stunts in hip hop ever, and considering the characters involved it could be highly likely, stay tuned....

Keep Bobbi In Your Prayers

1st off let me say #HappyFriday to you all & I hope your day's going as good as mine.  I got in all my exercise, & ran my errands so my mood is on chill.  I tried to stay away from scrolling social media today, in an attempt to flush out the bullshyt it dumps into your brain, but unfortunately I couldn't stay away totally.  The first thing I just so happen to see is the same type shyte I was trying to stay away from.

I didn't believe the initial news about her being found face-down in a tub because it seemed like the typical cliche rumor to generate some traffic.  I just wrote an article on the subject not too long ago about all the horns-waggle that they publish online.

I
t wasn't until I saw repeated reputable sources report the story that I was like "damn, this is for real"....then I was saddened for multiple reasons:
  • The way they found her
  • I felt for Bobby as it occurred right before his birthday, and his current wife is 4 months pregnant.
  • My initial feeling toward the situation was indifferent
The latter being what made me most melancholy.  I've subjected myself to so much social media BS that I'm indifferent to important matters because my initial thought is "It's probably bologna".  Now as I'm currently writing this Bobbi Kristina is still alive but only living through life support.  Its being said that Bobby still isn't sure rather he is gonna pull the plug or not as he's dealing with lots right now, as one could imagine.

Life w/o Masturbation (Week 2)

Well 1st off let me say I went for about 8 days w/o any masturbation and I did feel slight changes in myself, such as: a small boost in energyfocus, and more mental clarity.  Now notice I said went, on the 9th day, I gave in to temptation (I was soooo weak :'( ), but more like to experiment to see how much I had really been affected.  I'll spare the juicy deets & get to the conclusion.  1st off I felt bad afterwards, and not that normal slight guilt you feel sometimes, it was a heavygloomyrainy cloud floating over my head type of guilt.  As if I'd killed someone...& I had.  Millions of them to be exact.  Millions of people who never even got to reach a tenth of their full potential.  A piece of me was lost forever....this dimmed my smile some for sure.  Now following my activities I was accompanied by a slight sluggish feeling, wanted to take a power nap honestly, but I just worked through it.  My 'sexual eagerness' started to peak again, breaking my concentration every now & then but I'm getting it back under control.

So in conclusion according to my current knowledge, not masturbating, or having sex does have more mind & body benefits than I thought, but this is just the beginning.  I've started my 30 day challenge to see just how many good changes this discipline can bring about.  I will be keeping you updated just in case you find yourself wanting to try it for yourself one day...hell you never know you might need the  for some big life changing goals*

ThizZ in Peace Jacka

Whut Up World?! I've gotten in to rhythm of giving you consistent blogs, that correspond w/ the days of the week somewhat, which makes today 'Digital Release' day where I talk about the best CD/DVDs being released today.  Unfortunately tho, when I awoke and did what every natural human does first (which is check my social media activity), my day was abruptly brought to a halt for a moment....
Tho I don't know him personally, I'm such a fan of the music, I truly felt saddened because this is the 2nd member of the Mob Figaz group that's gone too soon.  (The 1st being Johnny Fast Gunna) If you don't listen to much Westcoast....true Westcoast music then you wouldn't know about the Mob Figaz but, you had to have heard of the 'Hyphy Movement'.  Thats how I discovered The Jacka & fellow members and was quickly drawn into their "lifestyle" for lack of a better word.  The first song I heard from him was a track called "Whatever".  It was a bit refreshing to hear cause around that time things were switching into that fabricated crap thats blaring over the airwaves now, but Jacka(Mob Figaz) was still coming with that gritty, grimy shyte that I like.  Of course Mac Dre was my favo rapper from the Bay, but after his untimely, unfortunate death my go to was Andre Nickatina, or this guy here (Jacka).  When they released their collaboration CD (My Middle Name Is Crime) I just about lost it!
Got it going right now actually, classic!  Really feeling his music more than ever right now, cause every time he spits about his struggles, & adversaries you realize how real he kept shyt in the booth.  Never doubted him in the first place, but damn... you feel like he was at a point where it was all behind him, unfortunately tho I guess it wasn't.  Or it could be that he was done with it(the streets), but they didn't wanna be done with him; whatever the case he truly moved on too quickly.  Maybe its for the best tho, cause most likely he's in a better place, smiling down, waiting to guide his loved ones from above.
"We Miss You Furl" plays thru my earphones & all I could think of is the huge collaboration song they(The Bay) gonna do for him(The Jacka)...hell they might even do it over that beat...shyt'll be so dope!  I know he probably just wanna see the whole Bay going dumb in memory of him anyway, #ThizzInPeace!!!

Lil Wayne Re-negotiating?

This is just a short PSA to put this out there, just in case it wins me a noble peace prize, or people recognize my supernatural powers.  Just wanna put this out there, if you go back a few posts you'll see some blogs I did back in December about the ongoing tensions over at Ca$h Money.  In what seemed like an avalanche effect, 1st Lil Twist insulted the management via tweet, then Tyga followed a month later, then finally about a month later Tunechi aired out his discontent with the label.  Now due to the way things popped off, and other happenings I suspected a bigger promotional scheme underneath what seemed like imminent doom.  Now as I'm doing my daily social media scroll I see the following story
Lil Wayne Will Stay With Cash Money, If Birdman Pays Him
Now I'm leaving the link for the official story below if you wanna get your detective on and investigate it further.  $10M is the asking price for at least the completion of the Carter V.  Like I said I feel its all part of a big promotional scheme because it just seems too...cliche' (for lack of a better word).  Just keep an ear out for the situation & remember where you heard it first...........Your Favorite Black Guy >> (Credits for official story go to XXL Magazine click here
