Jon Oh! Does HollyWood!

So this past week I traveled 3,000 miles away to The Place Where Stars Are Born, in pursuit of becoming one,

(Terrible OverCast Sunday)

and one of my biggest stops was none other than the BuzzNet HeadQuarters!

Unfortunately tho, no one was home so I left...

But since I already had got all jazzed up
Plus geared up...
I decided to leave a note along with promo materials for my 'Dance Party 99' campaign as well to serve as proof of verification for this visit.  (Which I hope you guys got. The security guard, slash doorman ensured me he'd get it to you.)
But besides not being able to kick it w/ you guys for a second, all in all Hollywood was pretty nice.  I've seen most other big cities and because of Cali's scenic landscape, the ehtnical mixture of females, and shear opportunities, & possibilities I'm leaning toward declaring it my favorite city, and will be back for sure so I'll get another chance at hanging with the 'cool kids'.  Before I do though I've got at least five more spots to hit, next one being Virginia Beach for the 52nd Annual Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships.  This'll be my first one so I'm 'stoked' as they'd say...until next time

No Condom!!!: DP 99 Press Release

Party like its’99….Again!!!

Remember Prince?  1999?  If not then you need to go google that shyte or something cuz you won’t understand this…well you will but you won’t get it, get it?  So Your good friend Jon Oh! Has been bombarded with lots of W’s1 lately… work, why’s, women.  Thus far has been pretty tumultuous for Your bro.  As you should know I released the biggest hit of my career I’d say…

Dance Party!!!

Which immediately after releasing it I felt like this….
martin
Because Your dear old friend knew what he’d just done.  He had just struck oil anew in the states, or found gold as some would say.  He could hear the potential involved.  It moved him, and you know how our narrator feels about something moving him?  Why it moves others as well!!!  And right he was.  People old, and anew loved it, smash straight from the gate I tell you.  Pleased with the results he was, and you know what?  MTV.com even picked it up eventually!  Blogs, and websites alike, one by one extended their helping hand at getting the project the attention that was needed.  And after all that trouble my friend would you believe that our dearest pals Big Gigantic weren’t able to let him gain credits on the song???????????????
Oh yes I neglected to inform my friends that their friend hadn’t recorded this particular song over his own beat, he hijacked to be honest,
carjacking
But it was never my intention to rob BG*of any royalties of any sort no, no dear brother.  It was actually me who reached out to my beloved(#LoadedLuxvc) and told them of the whole ordeal, but no luck their manager simply replied he couldn’t do it…

Made me feel like the guy in the blue I ain’t lying……

I was taken aback.  All the time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears I’d put into building my “Dance Party” campaign only to find I’d not be able to run in the election!!! Damned your brother was, frustrated not only with thyself, but also with questions coming from others concerning the song, and the direction of thy career.  Was it over for our beloved hero?  Certainly not, if it were he wouldn’t be our hero then would he?  He instead looked at all of it as a learning experience that he could benefit from hence….

#BlackClockWork

After a few days of discern Jon Oh! said something was still wrong, the old material seemed to plague your brother, troubled him something terrible.  He had to come up with an answer......And just like that!  Whilst enjoying time with his main Mary Jane, the answer came from the heavens…Dance Party!

Best way to explain it really.  My career had a tire with a hole in it.  Instead of changing the tire I’d been using fix-a-flat.  It’s finally time to change the tire.  Dance Party ’99, a revolution in hip-hop dance music.

O.P.P. (revisited)

‘S happenin? Hope everyone out there had a SafeFun-Filled Holiday weekend!!! I know there was tons of DANCE PARTIES(‘99*) out there!!! Unfortunately I’m still sittin here like

Siiggghhh...

Still waiting for iTunes, Amazon, etc… to post Dance Party ’99 so You All could have somethin’ Fresh & New, 2 Party 2! But like the saying goes, “All Good Things Come in Time”, sooo in the meanwhile I wanna run a side experiment! I’m trying to choose the next single and would like some feedback on my current choice. Its entitled “Fugg Up Da Check(O.P.P.)”, it’s about spending money that isn’t yours and I feel…I know it has the potential to be just as large as Dance Party ’99. Perfect follow-up because when paired with ‘DP99’ it gives a perfect example of my #2Entity trait, that I so love. Also it gives a perfect example of my versatility and ability to drop Hot Shid(Nelly vc) no matter the topic, situation, or beat!! Let me know what ya think, if I get enough positive feedback then I’ll release the official track!!!

Comics & HipHop

HAPPY FRIDAY  ALL!

Today I woke up feeling really good, even my dream was dope as hell; it let me know that yoUr future is as bright as yoU want it to be(;)  My social media notifications is what woke me, instagram being first so I checked it out and came across some really motivational pics like this...

And some rather funny ones like this...

The latter being what I decided to share with you guys.  As you should know I'm a hip-hop artist (damn good one at that)

and I'm all over the web(and sh#t(jon0h talk, edit if you'd like) internacting with a vast network of musicians, bloggers, writers, etc., and  this one website that I frequent(IndieHipHop.net) to share music and get a good laugh in is where I was introduced to the RapRatz comic strip.  Ever since then I've been waiting for my weekly update like a kid and the Sunday funnies!(Sandy Cheeks vc)  If you're not all that into hiphop then you might not get the full appreciation of it but if you are then You're Gonna Love Me!(Jennifer Hudson vc)  Here's a few of my faves to give you a few laughs & help get your mentals in the right!

Thanks for reading! Comic strip credits go to FunkWorm of IndieHipHop.net.  Remember to sign up for my website (http://jon0h.com) for (my) new music, videos, and daily inspiration!
